Web Development

Fast, secure, accessible, and adaptable websites that grow with a client’s organization and connect modern content, business knowledge, and customer-facing tools.

01

Content

Base 4 Designs serves small businesses, especially veteran-owned businesses, churches, veterans, and nonprofit organizations. Web development is most useful when an organization needs a faster site with the features required for its work, wants a site that can grow without purchasing a replacement, and values flexibility, performance, security, and accessible communication. Each implementation is aligned to the client’s business and subscription plan. Available capabilities include dynamic forms, tenant and Business Knowledge databases, automatic language translation, an AI assistant, blogging, scheduling services, newsletter management, security and shared platform maintenance, and access to future visual elements added to the reusable library. Integrated eCommerce is planned for a future release and is not represented as currently available. Delivery normally includes guided discovery, business-knowledge development, capability selection, branding, composition, review, launch, and client CMS training. Training combines written guidance, embedded assistance, and live or in-person instruction. Continued design support, content maintenance, custom implementation, and additional training are governed by subscription scope. A project may include custom block development for a client-specific layout, animation, integration, or experience while preserving the platform’s reusable component foundation. Base 4 builds accessibility into the platform through semantic components, keyboard-accessible controls, reduced-motion support, and light, dark, and high-contrast presentation modes. Automated and manual accessibility reviews are incorporated into delivery. Final accessibility depends on tenant branding, authored content, integrations, and ongoing changes, so these practices do not constitute a guarantee of ADA or WCAG compliance. Future direction includes enabling disabled tenants to maintain their sites through conversational assistance and voice control. A related goal is to help disabled veterans develop, refine, and publish their life stories through guided AI conversations similar to a collaborative chat.
